With her experience acting on Broadway, film, and television (with Paul Newman, James Earl Jones, and Kevin Kline), Maria helps Fortune 500 executives enhance their leadership presence and credibility by speaking with passion, persuasion, and pizzazz. 

Maria has improved performance at some of the world’s premier organizations, including JPMorgan Chase, Johnson & Johnson, Morgan Stanley, Chubb Corporation, American Express, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Shearman & Sterling.

Throughout multiple careers, Maria has learned that authenticity and “presence” are invaluable qualities for success.  Integrating her experience as a business consultant, adjunct professor at New York University and actor, Maria works with clients in every industry who want to speak with real power to influence.

Maria has been the featured speaker for many organizations, including the National Speakers Association Annual Convention, the NJ Pharmacists Association Annual Convention, the Global Bank HR Forum, the NY City Bar Association, the NJ Healthcare Business Women’s Association, the Project Management Institute, the Society for Human Resource Management, and the Meeting Professionals World Education Conference.

Maria’s articles have been published by the National Speakers Association, the Society for Human Resource Management, Smart CEO Magazine, Elite Meetings Magazine, Smart Hustle Magazine, NY Women in Communications, the NY County Lawyers Association, and Jersey City State College.

She is a member of the National Speakers Association, NY Women in Communications, Actor’s Equity Association, and the Screen Actors’ Guild.

Maria holds an M.A. in communication skills and also graduated from the Tisch Graduate Acting program at NYU.  Maria’s teachers/mentors include Olympia Dukakis, Alan Arkin, John Barton (Royal Shakespeare Company, London), and Kristen Linklater.

In addition, Maria is a master of the improvisation techniques and theater games of Chicago’s original “Second City” (the forerunner of Saturday Night Live); she studied improv with Alan Arkin and John Monteith (of “Monteith & Rand”, who regularly appeared on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson).
